SVERDRUP TOWNSHIP UNDERSTANDS THAT MAILBOXES ARE NECESSARY FOR RURAL MAIL DELIVERY. MN RULES CHAPTER 8818 DESCRIBES HOW TO INSTALL A LEGAL MAILBOX.

DURING SNOW REMOVAL MAILBOXES MAY BE DAMAGED, GENERALLY BY THE FORCE OF THE SNOW. DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE MAILBOX BY TOWNSHIP EQUIPMENT WIL BE EXAMINED ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS.

BUILDING PERMITS ARE REQUIRED BEFORE CONSTRUCTING ANY NEW BUILDING. COST IS $25.
